CRPF said on the anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack – you will not forgive, do not forget

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), which lost 40 of its soldiers in a terrorist attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir two years ago, said on Sunday that the country would not forgive responsibility for the attacks and would not forget the supreme sacrifice. On the second anniversary of the attack, a tribute event was held at the CRPF camp in Lethpur, Jammu and Kashmir.

Senior officers of the Force participated in the digital event from the CRPF headquarters in Delhi. This information was provided by CRPF spokesperson Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Moses Dinkaran. Force tweeted, don’t forgive, or forget. Salute to our brothers who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation in the Pulwama attack. Be grateful for them. We stand with the families of our brave soldiers.

Following the Pulwama attack, the Indian Air Force launched airstrikes on February 26, 2019, targeting terrorist camps in Balakot, Pakistan. CRPF Director General AP Maheshwari also released a video book dedicated to the 40 personnel who lost their lives on duty.

“We have inherited the bravery of moving like blood in our veins,” a spokesman quoted Maheshwari. The video book has 80 episodes and 300 minutes of content, Dinakaran said. A copy of the book will be sent to the families of soldiers who lost their lives in the Pulwama suicide bombing.
