CSK has announced that a special jersey number 8758 will be prepared in honor of Neeraj Chopra. Neeraj threw the javelin at 87.58 and he won the gold medal with the same score. Neeraj, a resident of Khandara village in Panipat, Haryana, threw the highest 85.65m javelin in the first attempt on Wednesday. The entire country is eyeing the finals on August 7. The silver medal in the event was won by Jacob Vydelek of the Czech Republic, who jumped 86.67 meters.
