The country’s largest car company Maruti Suzuki India has announced the launch of its vehicle subscription program ‘Maruti Suzuki Subs. The company said on Thursday that it has just started this program in Delhi, NCR (Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram) and Bengaluru. The company plans to expand the program to 60 cities across the country in the next two to three years.

Maruti Suzuki said in a statement that it has tied up with Orix Auto Infrastructure Services India, a subsidiary of Orix Corporation, Japan. Under this service, customers can opt for the new Swift Dzire, Vitara Brezza and Ertiga from Maruti Suzuki Arena and the new Baleno, Ciaz and XL6 from Nexa. Customers can avail 12 months to 48 months subscription for these vehicles. The monthly fee for 48 months subscription of Swift LXI in Delhi starts at Rs 14,463 (inclusive of tax). Shashank Srivastava, executive director (marketing and sales), Maruti Suzuki, said, “This program has been started for the convenience of individual customers.” No amount will have to be paid in advance. The monthly fee will include the cost of registration, insurance and renewal and general maintenance.

Option to buy at the end of the period

The company said that under this program, customers can use the new car without acquiring ownership of the vehicle. For this, they have to pay a monthly fee. This fee will include full maintenance, insurance and assistance in case of road damage. After the subscription expires, customers can update the vehicle, extend it or purchase the car at the market price.

These offline services will be closed after October 31
