DDC election: Shikara rally in Dal Lake, see Nazara in photos

District Development Council (DDC) election campaign in Jammu and Kashmir has gone heavy. The mode of participation of young people to participate in the election was found today in Dal Lake. On Sunday, the BJP took the Shikara rally from Dal Lake in Srinagar.

Despite the extreme cold in the Kashmir valley, the people of the district are standing to cast their ballot in the sixth phase of Sunday’s District Development Council (DDC) elections.

According to an official spokesperson, 124 candidates are trying their luck in the election of 14 district development boards in the sixth phase. Of these candidates, 47 are also women. In the sixth phase, about 7.5 lakh voters will be able to run the franchise in 2,000 booths. The first phase was voted on November 28.
