Giving this information, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the government is simultaneously waging an ‘anti-dust campaign’ and ‘war against pollution’ against burning stubble. CM Kejriwal gave this information through digital press conference.

The Chief Minister said that due to the soil blowing there is a lot of pollution, so to prevent the soil from blowing, we are starting an ‘Anti Dust Campaign’ from today. Since today, we are waging a war against pollution. Under this war, wherever there is a straw in Delhi, the Delhi government will make a solution and spray it. The Delhi government is starting the work of slurry under the supervision of Pusa Institute. The Chief Minister said that this campaign is very important to protect the health of the people. Earlier, Chief Minister Kejriwal held a meeting with officials of the Environment Department to formulate a strategy against increasing pollution in Delhi. Officials of Transport, Development, PWD, Delhi Development Authority, Delhi Jalboard, Traffic Police and Municipal Corporation were present in the meeting.

The Chief Minister said that the government is trying to keep pollution and environment better in the coming years, especially amid Corona infection. As part of the campaign, along with awareness campaign from Monday, people are also being made aware of the use of technology to keep the environment better. CM said that in the last five years, the government has not allowed pollution in Delhi to increase. While traffic increased in the national capital as well as industrial activities. Pollution in Delhi decreased by 25% from 2014 to 2019. CM said that his government has already launched electric vehicle policy, which is the best policy in the world, not only the country.
