Shah’s email said the tournament venue has yet to be decided and details related to the Mushtaq Ali Trophy will be decided soon. The BCCI will consult members on how to host other tournaments. In the BCCI’s email there is no mention of the Ranji Trophy but the decision will be taken after the group stage of the Mushtaq Ali tournament, Shah said. But the Ranji Trophy is difficult enough to organize this season. Meanwhile, the deadline for the inter-state transfer of cricketers in the season has been extended to December 20.
