Team India are in the semifinal ahead of the five-Test series against England. Most cricketers go on tour with their families and some with their friends. India reached England in the first week of June, followed by the final match of the ICC World Test Championship between India and New Zealand from June 18 to June 23. The five-match Test series between India and England should be played from August 4. Shirdul Thakur is also part of Team India on this tour. Shardul was not part of the 5-man squad for the World Test Championship final. Shardul has performed brilliantly on the tour of Australia, so it is believed he may get a chance to play in a Test series against England.
