Former India cricketer does not rely on Virat Kohli for WTC finals

Team India, led by Virat Kohli, will face the final of the World Test Championship against New Zealand on June 18 in Southampton. The last time India faced New Zealand in a Test series was 2–0. The question of whether India can defeat New Zealand in England’s situation raises many questions. Former Indian batsman Sridharan Sriram, however, believes that the Kohli-led Indian team is balanced and will not prove weak in the match.

Sridharan Sriram told the English newspaper The New Indian Express that the Indian team is balanced and covers every floor. New Zealand batsmen face a test against India’s best bowling Indian batsmen now have experience playing abroad. So I don’t think the bowling of the Kiwi team is heavy because of bowling. From my own experience I can say that Southampton’s surface helps spinners. Both Ravindra Jadeja and Ashwin will benefit from this.

Why did Washington Sundar answer the question of dismissing Virat Kohli, who is the cricket king

Recalling India’s victory in Australia, Sridharan Sriram said, “I don’t think India relies so much on Kohli because they beat Australia without them.” But obviously being on the Kohli team is a huge advantage to his ability. Kohli’s batting was different from the rest. The biggest thing is their intensity they bring to the team’s every practice session. His desire to be the best in the world is unmatched.

Notably, in the absence of Virat, India made a strong comeback after falling behind in the series against Australia. After Kohli’s paternity leave, Ajinkya Rahane took charge of the India Test team and led India to a 2–1 historic victory in the 4-Test series. Many of the Indian players have not played in this series due to injury. But India won with an inexperienced team.

The mother of former Indian cricketer KS Shravanti has died of coronation, with Virat Kohli receiving Rs 6.77 lakh for treatment.
