The International Cricket Council (ICC) has banned former Zimbabwean captain and veteran all-rounder Heath Streak for 8 years. They have been banned for violating the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Code.
The 47-year-old Heath Streak made his international debut in November 1993 with one-day internationals against South Africa and in 1993 against Pakistan. In 2005, the cricketer retired from international cricket and became captain of the Warwickshire Cricket Club in England.

Streak initially refused to accept the charges against him, but he later admitted his guilt. ICC General Manager Alex Marshall said, “Heath Streak, an experienced international cricketer and national team with experience in coaching, has been found to be involved in several anti-corruption cases.”
Streak has averaged 28 runs in 65 Tests and has taken 216 wickets, while in 189 ODIs he has scored 2943 runs at an average of 28 and taken 239 wickets. Streak has played a total of 23 T20 matches, scoring 333 runs at 24 for 24.
