Ganesh Chaturthi 2020: Shadow of the corona, this time Ganapati Maharaj will reside in homes, pandals will not decorate

Ganesh Chaturthi 2020 Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on Saturday in the city. Gajanan statues will not be publicly installed in societies this time due to fears of corona infection. People will offer worship in the homes by setting the first worship. Due to Kovid 19, extreme care will be taken.

On Ganesh Chaturthi, there was a different enthusiasm among the societies. People used to prepare for the worship of Ganapati many days in advance. Publicly, the pandals decorated and installed the idol of Ganapati and worshiped by law.

Musical aarti was organized in the morning and evening. Finally, a grand procession was organized to bid farewell to Ganapati Bappa.

No public events

This time due to the corona, the festival will be confined to narrow houses. In Lakhmi Vihar Society, people will install the idol of Ganesh at home. Society president Billu Chaudhary said that this time there will be no public function.

Similarly, in societies like Saraswati Vihar, Shri Ram Palace and Dwarikapuri, people will install Vinayak’s idol in their homes.

27 year old tradition will break

The Sriganesh Shobhayatra Samiti organized a meeting at the ancient Bhole Shankar Mahadev Temple at Baghpat Gate Shiv Chowk. Chief Convenor Abhishek Agarwal and program head Satish Rajput said that only Ganesh Chaturthi will be decorated with shrines and a small statue of Ganesh will be installed in the temple premises.

Later the idol will be immersed by taking a tour of the temple premises. Ashwani Sharma and Roshan Sharma etc. were also present in the meeting.

Orange and chocolate chocolate are ready for enjoyment

Lord Ganesha loves modak bhog. Therefore, many tasting modaks have been prepared before the Ganesh festival, so that Gajanan can be blessed by offering his favorite modak.

Therefore, this time Ganapati Bappa can be pleased by offering any modak of his choice. Modak prices range from 240 to 780 rupees a kg.

They say

Due to not having a pandal on the Ganesh festival, this time the demand for modak will be less than the previous year, but our preparation is complete.

We have prepared all types of modaks. The most sought after is the modak made from mava and the modak made from Bundi.
