Ghulam Nabi Azad said of the state of the party – the Congress has been at the bottom for the last 72 years

Commenting on the current state of the Congress, senior party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said on Sunday that the Congress has been at the bottom for the past 72 years. During the last two years of the Congress, there were no opposition leader posts in the Lok Sabha. Ghulam Nabi Azad said the Congress won 9 seats in the Hill Council elections in Ladakh, but we are not expecting such a positive result.

Ghulam Nabi Azad, discussing the party’s situation with news agency ANI, said things would not change unless we changed our course of action at every step. The leadership should give the party workers a program and hold elections for the post.

“Our people have lost touch with people at the district level, block level,” he said. When an officer is drafted in our party, they print out a letter pad, make a visiting card, they think my work is over, from that point the work must begin.

Ghulam Nabi Azad said I was giving clean chit to Gandhi because of the corona epidemic, because he can’t do much right now. There has been no change in our demands. They have agreed to most of our demands. Ghulam Nabi Azad said that our leadership should be chosen if they want to become a national alternative and revive the party.

“Our party structure has collapsed,” Ghulam Nabi Azad said. We need to rebuild our structure and then it works if we select a leader in that structure. But it is wrong to say that by changing the leader we will win Bihar, UP, MP etc. This happens when we change the system.
