Hah Baba! The Bajaj Caliber is coming back, the bike coming with advanced features and new technology

There are signs that older players are back in the Indian auto sector. In November last year, TVS trademarked it under the name of its famous bike Fiero. Bajaj Auto, the country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has now re-registered its trademark Bajaj Caliber. After that, there are rumors that the company will use this name for their upcoming motorcycle.

Let us tell you that Bajaj Auto has applied for the Caliber trademark in March of this year. A status check on the government’s official website shows that the trademark has been approved and, therefore, this name can now be used by manufacturers. Electric vehicles are also mentioned in the trademark specification, but experts believe that Bajaj Auto will use this moniker for its IC engine bikes.

Bajaj Caliber Bike

Currently, there is no utility-based passenger motorcycle in the Bajaj Auto vehicle portfolio with a capacity of 125cc. While the Bajaj Caliber is one of the most popular bikes of its time, the company is expected to bring caliber back in this segment. The 125 cc engine is used in this bike. However, the company has not yet shared any official information on the matter.

Of note, Caliber began its journey in 1998 under Bajaj-Kawasaki, which was sold in India until 2006. When the bike was launched in the market, the special ‘Hudibaba’ tagline was used in its marketing and advertising and became very popular. The bike uses a 111.6cc engine that produces 9.5 hp of power. The top speed of this bike is 102 kilometers per hour. Now once again Bajaj is getting ready to run on the caliber country roads.
