India’s star off spinner Harbhajan Singh has done something, which is why he is trending on Twitter. In fact, in his Instagram story, he paid tribute to Jharneel Singh Bhindranwale, a Khalistani terrorist who was killed inside the Golden Temple during Operation Blue Star and tried to call him a ‘martyr’. Let us tell you that Operation Blue Star was held from June 1 to June 8, 1984 at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. This is a great mission by the Indian Army.
The campaign was carried out by the then Prime Minister of the country, Indira Gandhi and the Punjab to correct the deteriorating law and order situation. As part of this campaign, the Indian Army entered the Golden Temple in 1984 to chase away terrorists led by Bhindranwale who wanted to create a state for the Sikh community. Though not explicitly named Harbhajan Bhindranwale, Bhindranwale’s image was featured prominently in his Instagram story. People are trolling about this fiercely.
