After the alleged gang-rape of a 19-year-old Dalit girl in Hathras and then the burning of the body by the policemen against the wishes of her family in the middle of the night, there is a lot of anger among the people, on the other hand, politics is also getting plenty. Meanwhile, a series of meetings continued on Sunday at the former BJP MLA’s residence in Hathras, defending the alleged gang rape accused along with a Dalit woman.
During this time it was demanded that an FIR be lodged against the family members of the victim. Heavy security forces were deployed at the residence of former BJP MLA Rajvir Singh Pehalwan, about 8-9 km from the victim’s family village.
Manveer Singh, the son of a wrestler, one of the organizers, denied that there was a meeting of upper castes and said that they were all from “different communities”. Manvir Singh, claiming that the victim’s family is changing its ‘stand’, said – “We welcome the order given by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for a CBI inquiry.” We have full confidence in the investigation. “

He said that in this case there should be an FIR against the complainant. He further said – Our demand is that a case should be registered against the one who has complained earlier in this case.
Significantly, the 19-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly gangraped by upper castes in Hathras on 14 September. The victim was taken to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi on September 29 in critical condition, where she succumbed during treatment.
