Honda is bringing a new powerful electric scooter with a dual battery single charge of 87km.

With the continuous increase in fuel prices, people are becoming more interested in electric vehicles. In the last few years, the demand for electric two-wheelers has increased tremendously in the country. Automakers are continuously introducing new models in this segment to address this interest of consumers. Recently, Japanese automaker Honda has also been testing the electric scooter Benli-E on Indian roads.

Let us tell you that Honda introduced its Benley E Electric Scooter Series for the first time in 2019. There are a total of four models in this series. The scooter is now being tested by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). All the scooters in this series use different features and technology. Discussions about its launch have intensified after being seen during the test. However, the company has not yet shared any information on the matter.

    Honda Benley E Electric Scooter

In the test model, the company has supplied an LED headlamp, digital instrument cluster and accessories power socket. It also gets a large basket on the front and a carrier on the back, which weighs a maximum of 60kg. The scooter is currently only available in the same color as the Rose White and comes with features such as the reverse assist function.

The Benley E Electric Scooter has a 12-inch front tire and a 10-inch rear tire. Its total weight ranges from 125 to 130 kg and is equipped with a combi braking system (CBS). This scooter can be used for private use and commercially well.

Honda Benley E Electric Scooter

Honda is offering this electric scooter with two different motor options. In its Benley E I and I Pro, the company used a 2.8 kW capacity electric motor that produces 13 Nm of torque. The company claims that the scooter delivers a range of up to 87 km / h while moving at 30 km / h at a single charge. On the other hand, on the Benley E II and II Pro, the company used a 4.2 kW capacity electric motor that produces 15 Nm of torque. This scooter offers a range of 43 km / h while moving at 60 km / h.

In it, two 48-capacity two lithium-ion batteries are used, which are named the Mobile Power Pack. Both batteries can be easily removed from the scooter when needed and can be charged from the home socket. Currently, the company is testing this scooter in the Indian market and is expected to release it for sale soon.
