Hong Kong cricket captain Eajaz Khan is in trouble. He was arrested by Hong Kong police on charges of defrauding an insurance company. All-rounder Eajaz Khan has been arrested from his home. According to a report by the South China Morning Post (SCMP), Ajaz Khan is accused of embezzling three million Hong Kong dollars (about Rs 2.80 crore). Reports said the national team captain had received money from the company after being injured in an accident while playing in several cricket tournaments.

Referring to a senior Hong Kong police inspector, the SCMP stated that “he (Ijaz Khan) claimed that the injuries he suffered in the accident could not work.” However, it is known from our investigation that they continue to participate in 10 or more sports tournaments to further their income. Thereafter, he was suspected of defrauding a large insurance company.
