1) Control the phone’s screen brightness
Whenever there is a battery drain on Android phones, the biggest reason for this is screen brightness. The way to do this is if your phone has an auto mode for screen brightness, use it. Auto brightness mode is enabled on Android Pi (9.0) and higher. So reduce the shine to save the battery. This saves the battery and reduces stress in the eyes.

2) Put the battery optimization on the phone
Google is adding ways to better control battery life on the Android Marshmallow (6.0) operating system. In that case, running background apps is blocked. If you want to extend your battery life, you should go to Phone Settings and turn on battery optimization.

3) Decrease your screen timeout
Most smartphones’ screen turns off after one or two minutes when not in use. But if you want, you can go to the phone’s settings and reduce the phone’s lock time. By doing this you will be able to save the phone’s battery.

4) Delete unused account from smartphone
If you’re signed in with multiple accounts on your smartphone, your battery drains quickly. This is because each account syncs contacts, emails, photos and other media. Removing unnecessary accounts will cost less data. If you do not want to delete these accounts, you can turn off Auto-Sync.

5) Do not use ‘battery saver’ applications
Many developers in the Play Store offer fake apps that say these apps will save your battery but in reality it is not. So avoid downloading such apps on your phone.
