Earthquake struck twice in northern India This caused panic among people in all states including Delhi-NCR, Haryana, UP, Punjab and Chandigarh Chandigarh and people were evicted from their homes. The first time the earthquake is rated 6.3 on the Richter scale, the second time the shock is 6.1. According to an EMSC report, if the first shot was at 10:31 am and its center was Tajikistan, the second shot came just 3 minutes later and this time the center was called Punjab.
After the earthquake, many people commented on the awfulness of water on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. Explaining this, Omar Abdullah, former CM of Jammu and Kashmir, wrote that this was the first such trauma since 2005. Omar Abdullah tweeted that as soon as he felt the shock, he ran out of the house with a blanket.
The tremor in Srinagar since the 2005 earthquake was bad enough to put me out of the house. I grabbed the blanket and ran. I can’t remember to pick up my phone and tweet the “earthquake” while the damn ground was shaking.

Omar Abdullah wrote, ‘The first Srinagar earthquake since 2005 was severely felt. Because of this I had to flee home. I picked up the blanket and ran outside. I forgot to pick up my phone and couldn’t even tweet about it when the earth was moving. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted: Delhi CM wished everyone safety after the earthquake. Kejriwal wrote, ‘There was an earthquake in Delhi. Praying for the safety of everyone. ‘
