Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, the man of the series in the T20 series against Australia, said on Tuesday that fast bowler T Natarajan was awarded the best bowling award. Natarajan, a 29-year-old Tamil Nadu fast bowler, made his international debut in the third ODI in Canberra. He took eight wickets in four matches.
“You have performed an unparalleled Natarajan in this series,” Pandya tweeted. Performing on behalf of India, performing terribly well under difficult circumstances will show your talent and hard work. You deserve me, man of the series, brother. Congratulations on winning the India team.

After India’s 12-run defeat in the third T20, Natarajan took one for 33 in four overs. India won the series 2–1. Natarajan took three wickets in the first T20 International and two in the second. He made his debut in the third ODI with two wickets. India won by 13 runs. He was selected in the T20 squad but was later added to the ODI squad as a backup.
