In fact, during the 2016 T20 World Cup, Amitabh Bachchan and Flitoff were confronted on Twitter, and Amitabh Bachchan gave Flintoff a fitting reply at the time. In 2016, Flintoff tweeted, ‘Virat Kohli will be able to get better at sourcing at this rate! I’m not sure who England will play in the final. Responding to Root’s tweet, the legendary actor said, ‘Flintoff, Virat Kohli, Joe Root, England’s Root of Cricket Dismantles the source. Nearly five years later, Flintoff shares this tweet from Amitabh Bachchan, writing, ‘With all due respect, it’s old enough.’ Flintoff even shared a laughing emoji with it.

Joe Root is the first captain to score 150 in three consecutive innings in Test cricket over the last 84 years. Prior to Root, Don Bradman achieved this position in 1937. Root also became the world’s first batsman to score a double century in his 100th Test match. Root’s performance against Sri Lanka was also excellent and he scored a double century in the first Test. Thanks to Root’s innings, England have strengthened their hold on the match.
