IND vs ENG: Jaspreet Bumrah rewarded with 5 wickets, second name on Trent Bridge’s tribute

The first Test match between India and England at Nottingham’s Trent Bridge ground has reached a turning point. India need 157 to win the 5th day and have nine wickets in hand. Indian fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah has been named to Trent Bridge’s honor board for the second time. He sent 5 England players to the pavilion in the second innings. Bumrah’s name was added to the Trent Bridge tribute board for the second time.

Bumrah’s name was first added in 2018. Bumrah then took 5 wickets in his first Test in England. BCCI has shared a video of Bumrah’s name being written on the tribute board from her official Twitter account. This video shows the entire process of registering Bumrah’s name on the Honor Board. Except for him, the name of England fast bowler Oli Robinson is written on the tribute board.

England captain Joe Root is also named on the tribute board, which scored 109 in the second innings for England. Speaking of Bumrah, he took wickets from Dominic Sibley, K Crawley, Joe Root, Sam Curran and Stuart Broad. England’s second innings was all out for 303. This put England ahead of India’s target of 209 runs. India were 52 for one wicket.
