The second Test of the four-Test series between India and England is being played at M Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. By lunch on the fourth day, Team India had strengthened their hold on the match and the team was just three wickets away from victory. Ravichandran Ashwin and Akshar Patel gave the England team one-on-one from the start of the day. Ashwin and Akshar have taken three wickets so far. Kuldeep Yadav, who is returning to Test cricket after a long time, picked up the first wicket of the match by dismissing Ben Fox, then congratulating Rohit Sharma on the air.

In England’s second innings, Kuldeep Yadav threw his fourth over and tried his third over of the over with a big shot from Ben Fox’s sweep, but Fox couldn’t get the ball down and fielding Akshar Patel in mid-wicket groove. The start of the fourth day was good for India and Akshar Patel stole Lawrence (26) from Rishabh Pant’s hand and sent him to the pavilion. After this, Ashwin had a dangerous batsman Ben Stokes (8) in the hands of Kohli in his sleep. Ally Pope (12) could not do anything special with the bat and fell victim to Akshar Patel. India are 1-0 in the four-match Test series. The remaining two Tests of the series will be played at Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad.
