India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has recovered from Corona and he will be joining the team soon. Pant’s corona test has been negative and now he will join the Indian team on Wednesday. Team India players have been on a 20-day hiatus since the WTC finals and Pant was known to be corona positive at the time. However, in some reports Pant went to England to watch the Euro Cup 2020 match with his friends and he was found to be Corona positive at the time.

In some reports it is said that Pant went to the dentist on July 4 and 5, where he came to grip the corona. He stayed in his friends’ room and at the same time, after Corona was found to be positive, he isolated himself at a friend’s house. Because of this, he was unable to accompany the Indian team to the 15-day camp in Durham. India will play a three-day warm-up match against County Select XI in Durham starting July 20, and Pant will not be part of the team.

The 23-year-old Pant underwent a Sunday PCR test in which his report was negative and it is believed he could join the team for the second practice match starting July 28. Pant will join the Indian team on July 21, reports say. India will play a five-match Test series against England starting from August 4.
