The third match of the four-Test series between India and England is being played at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. England captain Joe Root won the toss and decided to bat first. The English batsmen did not stand before the stunning bowling of Akshar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin and the entire team was all out for 112 in the first innings. The stadium was inaugurated by President Ramanath Kovind before the match began. Home Minister Amit Shah and Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju were also present. Meanwhile, England Cricket has shared a video of the dressing room of the world’s largest cricket stadium on its Twitter account.

Before the third Test, the players inside the stadium were applauded by Team India. India and England played against each other for the first time in a day-night Test match with a pink ball.
