IND vs. SL: Sri Lanka coach Mickey Arthur and former cricketer Russell Arnold clash on Twitter

A three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and India is underway. The second match of the series was played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, where Team India won by three wickets. Sri Lanka’s win in this match seemed once in a while, but Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were unbeaten on 84 for the eighth wicket to give Team India a win. Sri Lankan coach Mickey Arthur became very angry after the defeat. Anger was clearly visible on Mika Arthur’s face in the last over. He reached the field after the match and it seems there was some argument between him and captain Dasun Shanaka. The video became quite viral on social media, then tweeted by former Sri Lankan cricketer Russell Arnold.

‘That conversation between the coach and the captain shouldn’t be on the field, but in the dressing room,’ Russell Arnold wrote on Twitter. Mickey Arthur also answered him. He wrote, ‘Russell we win together, we lose together, but we are always learning. Dasun and I are moving forward as a team and we are both very disappointed by the loss of not being able to win. It was actually a very good discussion, no need to look for anything else. ‘

Sri Lanka were 275 for nine in 50 overs. In reply, India lost seven wickets for 193 runs at one stage. Deepak Chahar then scored 69 not out and Bhuvneshwar Kumar 19 not out. Together they led Team India to victory.
