India COVID 19 tally crosses 68 lakh mark with a spike of 78524 new cases and 971 deaths in the last 24 hours

After seven days of reduction in corona cases, once again corona cases are showing some momentum. There has been an increase in new corona patients for the second consecutive day. In the last 24 hours, 78,524 infected patients have been found in the country and after this the total number has crossed 68 million.

According to the data released by the Health Ministry on Thursday, 971 people died due to corona in the country in 24 hours and so far a total of 1,05,526 people have lost their lives due to the virus. However, the trend of active cases continues to decrease. Now there are a total of 9 lakh 02 thousand 425 active cases in the country. A total of 58,27,705 people have been cured so far.

According to ICMar, 8 crore 34 lakh, 65 thousand, 975 samples have been tested in the country so far, while on October 7, a total of 11 lakh 94 thousand, 321 samples were tested.

Earlier, on October 7, 72,049 cases were reported across the country, and on October 6, 61 thousand new patients were found. Before that there was a decrease in corona cases for seven consecutive days. It is believed that the first wave of corona virus infection in the country is now calming down. However, as the cases have increased since two days, the fear of running out of expectations has also started showing.

PM Modi made a warning
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a “mass movement” on Twitter about the proper behavior of people to deal with Kovid-19 in view of upcoming festivals, cold weather and the state of the economy. In a series of tweets, he urged people to take every precaution until a vaccine for the prevention of corona virus is made and not to be too relaxed.

He said, “Avoid corona virus. Wash hands frequently. Wear the mask properly. Play two yards. No laxity unless there is medicine. Modi also shared the photos with messages related to the Corona virus. In this, he himself is wrapped up on the floor and with folded hands, he is seen urging people to rescue. He also used the “Unite to Fight Corona hashtag” to give the campaign a edge.
