India vs England: Michael Vaughan praises Team India as favorite to win T20 World Cup

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has praised Team India after winning the T20 series. Vaughan said he won the best team in the series. He described the Indian team as a favorite for this year’s T20 World Cup. India won the five-match T20 series 3-2 by defeating England by 36 runs in the fifth T20 match played at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium. Skipper Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 80 for the team. In the bowling department, Shardul Thakur took three wickets and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets.

After winning the T20 series, Michael Vaughan tweeted congratulations to Team India, saying, ‘India has been spectacularly fit for the series. The best team won. Under the conditions of India, Jaspreet Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja will be included in this team and India will be the favorite to win the T20 World Cup. It was so fun watching the series. While Michael Vaughan was struggling with the Indian team, he described it as the IPL’s Mumbai Indians. After losing the toss in the fifth team, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli came out for the opener for India and both gave a shout-out to the team. Rohit-Virat added 94 runs for the first wicket in 8.6 overs. Rohit was scored by Ben Stokes for 64. After that, Suryakumar batted by storm, scoring 32 off 17 balls, while Hardik Pandya scored 39 off 17 balls in the last over and scored 229 runs at strike rate. Chasing a target of 225, England were able to score only 188 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
