Inflation game: Where did the price of vegetables, pulse-oil, tea leaves and milk boil in a year?

During the corona period, people lost their jobs, businesses collapsed, incomes decreased, and then household expenses became more difficult to manage. Inflation from the top hit the nose. According to data provided on the Consumer Affairs Ministry website, the average price of mustard oil on August 2 last year was Rs 122.12 per kg, which rose to Rs 172.72 on August 2, 2021. It recorded a jump of 41 percent during this period. A year ago Rs. Vegetable prices too went up to Rs 133.37 from Rs 87.34. This is an increase of 52 per cent. The biggest jump in sunflower oil occurred. In one year, it has increased to Rs. 108.09 to Rs. 171.09 which means a jump of 58.28 per cent. During this period, palm oil was about 50 percent more expensive.

In a bowl, thin lentils, less milk
