In the 13th season (IPL 2020) of the Indian Premier League, Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Karthik Tyagi played his debut IPL match against Mumbai Indians. In the debut match, Tyagi took one wicket after spending 36 runs in four overs. Tyagi sent Quinton Dickock to the pavilion. Regarding Tyagi’s bowling action, Rajasthan Royals star all-rounder Ben Stokes has made a tweet on which fans are asking him whether he is praising or taunting Tyagi.
Stokes wrote about Tyagi’s bowling, “Tyagi’s run-up is like Brett Lee and he throws the ball like Ishant Sharma.” On this tweet from Stokes, Brett Lee himself has admitted that Tyagi’s bowling action is similar to his. Tyagi’s bowling action was being shown again and again on TV and commentators also discussed this matter. Fans started making funny comments about Stokes’ tweet.
Stokes himself answered the questions of the fans and said that this is neither a compliment, nor a taunt, it is just his observation.

Stokes has also reached the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and will join the team after completing mandatory isolation and coming to the Kovid-19 Test Negative. Stokes’ father has brain cancer and was in New Zealand with his family during this difficult time. This was the reason that he could not play for Rajasthan Royals in the opening matches of IPL.
