In the 14th season of the IPL, 292 players will enter the mini auction in Chennai on February 18. 1114 cricketers had registered their names in this mini auction. After submitting a shortlist of players from eight franchises, a final list of 292 players has been prepared, which will go to the mini auction. As of Thursday night, the BCCI’s maximum base price of Rs 2 crore was set at auction, which included two Indian players – Harbhajan Singh and Kedar Jadhav and eight foreign players – Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Shakib Al Hasan, Moin Ali, Sam Billings, Liam Plunkett , Jason Roy and Mark Wood.

The 12 players will be auctioned off at a base price of Rs 1.5 crore, while 11 players Hanuma Vihari and Umesh Yadav will be sold for Rs 1 crore. There are 15 players at a base price of Rs 75 lakh, all of them foreigners. There are 65 players at a base price of Rs 50 lakh, including 13 Indian and 52 foreign players.
