IPL 2021: Delhi Capitals coach Mohammed Kaif said – last time the title dream was shattered, now one step ahead

In Delhi, international players like Ravichandran Ashwin, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Prithvi Shah, Akshar Patel, Ishant Sharma and Steve Smith, Kagiso Rabada and Enrich Nortje have played some form of cricket in recent times.

Forty-one-year-old Kaif said the team focused on catching catches in flood light during Saturday’s practice. Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting is also set to take part in his first training session after completing the quarantine. Kaif said, ‘I’m looking forward to meeting Ricky in private. I got in touch with them on the telephone. After joining their team on the field, we plan to train with them in the coming days. The Delhi team will start their campaign in Chennai on April 10 against the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021.
