IPL 2021: Enrich Nortje, desperate to get back on the field, says staying in quarantine is very challenging

Delhi Capitals fast bowler Enriz Nortje is set to make a comeback in IPL 2021. Nortje said he wanted to keep his tremendous rhythm in the game against the Kings of Punjab. He said the days of quarantine were difficult enough for him. Northjee joined the team on Friday after being negative for the Kovid-19 Test three times. Upon reaching Mumbai, Nortje was hit by Corona so that he could not play the first two games.

Released Saturday by the franchise, Northje said, “It was very difficult for me to keep the quarantine for 10 days.” It’s great to get out of it, practice and bowl. From here, I hope to be able to perform better by maintaining the rhythm. Nortje hoped the team would do well by taking advantage of the good conditions at Wankhede Stadium. Referring to the Kings of Punjab, he said the team was not taking anything for granted. He said, ‘No team is weak, every team is very competitive and anybody can beat anyone. We are not taking anyone lightly and hope to move on with our plan.

The Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals by 3 wickets in their last match. The Delhi bowlers were brilliant, but Rajasthan managed to record victory in the last two overs with Chris Morris batting. Under Rishabh Pant’s lead, Delhi defeated Chennai Super Kings by 7 wickets.
