Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 18 runs in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). CSK took 220 for the first wicket, losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. For the team, Faf Duplessi scored an unbeaten 95 while Rituraj Gaikwad scored 64. Chasing a huge 221, Pat Cummins (66 not out) and Andre Russell (54 not out) were all out for 202 despite a stormy innings. It was Chennai’s third win of the season and topped the point table.
