IPL 2021: Know who Tim David will replace Phil Allen on the RCB team

Royal Challengers Bangalore have added three new players to their squad for the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Sri Lankan all-rounder Hasanara, Dushmant Chamira and Tim David have been added to the RCB squad. Singapore’s explosive batsman Tim David has been added to the RCB squad to replace Finn Allen. Tim David, 6 feet 5 inches tall, recently caught the eye of everyone with explosive batting at the Royal London One Day Cup.

Allen has been selected in the New Zealand squad for the series against Bangladesh, due to which he will not be available for the IPL. In such a situation, the RCB has recruited Singapore’s dangerous batsman Tim David. Singapore’s young batsman Tim David Wright is also an off-break bowler. The second phase of IPL 2021 will start from September 19. The first match of the second leg of the IPL 2021 will be held in Dubai between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.

David played a stormy innings against Warwickshire while playing for Surry Cricket Club. He hit half century in 28 balls and century in 55 balls. He scored an unbeaten 140 off 70 balls. He hit 11 sixes and nine fours in his innings. Tim David debuted for international cricket in 2019 against Qatar.

Tim David has played 14 T20 internationals so far. He scored 558 runs at an average of 46.50. His strike rate at this time is 158.52. He has taken 5 wickets in international T20 matches. Tim has played in the Big Bash League and the Pakistan Super League. He will be the first batsman to play IPL for Singapore.
