IPL 2021: Shikhar Dhawan seizes Orange Cap again, Chris Morris claims to be strong for Purple Cap

A total of 29 matches have been played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Shikhar Dhawan, the victorious hero of the Delhi Capitals, once again took the lead in the Orange Cap race. Shikhar Dhawan scored an innings of 69 runs and the Orange cap has once again come to its head after this innings. Dhawan has scored a total of 380 runs in his account. Thus, he has left Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul behind. Rahul was hospitalized after appendicitis and was unable to play against the Delhi Capitals. Mayank Agarwal notched 99 not out as the top five contenders in the Orange Cap race but was replaced by the Punjab Kings.

In reply, the Delhi Capitals set the target by losing three wickets in 17.4 overs and won the match by seven wickets. Shikhar Dhawan scored 69 not out.
