IPL 2021 Stage 2: KKR, RCB and PBKS can suffer setbacks

The second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 will take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 19. The remaining matches of the IPL 2021 will be held in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings have already reached the UAE, while the rest of the franchise teams will soon arrive there. The full list of which cricketers will not be able to play in the second phase of IPL 2021 is yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, Cricket Australia has named four such cricketers with IPL 2021 contracts, but they are finding it difficult to play in the second tier.

According to Cricket Australia, fast bowlers Pat Cummins, Kane Richardson, Jay Richardson and Riley Meredith are hardly players in the second leg of the IPL 2021. In such a situation, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) problems may increase. Cummins plays for KKR, Meredith and Jay Richardson, while part of the Punjab Kings, while Kane Richardson has signed with RCB.

According to Cricket Australia, Steve Smith, David Warner, Glenn Maxwell and Josh Hazlewood are almost certain to play in the second leg of the IPL 2021.
