Rishabh Pant has been selected as the new captain of the Delhi Capitals for the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Suresh Raina, who plays for Chennai Super Kings, said Rishabh Pant will prove to be a charismatic leader of the Delhi Capitals in this latest edition of the IPL. IPL 2021 starts from 9th April. New Delhi: Delhi Capital’s chairman and co-owner Kiran Kumar Gandhi on Tuesday announced that Rishabh Pant has been appointed as the captain after Shri Iyer left the IPL 14 due to injury.
Suresh Raina is making his comeback to CSK this season. He congratulated Pant for being the captain of the Delhi Capitals, saying: “Heartfelt congratulations to Rishabh Pant, the captain of the Delhi Capitals in this season. Has begun. It was my dream to lead this team. I am very grateful to the owners of my team who qualified me for this role. ”Understandably, there are plenty of good and great people around me, and I can’t wait to give my best to my team.
