IPL 2021: The Delhi Capitals team has reached Dubai to participate in the second leg of the IPL

Some members of the Delhi Capitals arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday to participate in the remaining matches of the IPL 2021. Delhi Capitals shared pictures of players arriving in Dubai on Sunday. According to the franchise, leg spinner Amit Mishra, all-rounder Lalit Yadav and domestic players Luqman Marivala, Manimaran Siddharth, Ripple Patel and Vishnu Vinod have reached Dubai.

These players will now remain in Quarantine following the Corona related protocol made by the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) and IPL. It is important to note that the Delhi Capitals will start the second leg of the IPL with the match against Sun Raisers Hyderabad at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 22 September. Only a few domestic cricketers and support staff have reached Dubai with the Delhi Capitals. The rest of the teams join in after completing their individual international tours.

Rishabh Pant, who leads the team in the first leg of the IPL 2021, is currently in England. The five-Test series between Team India and England is being played here. Delhi Capitals star batsman Shreyas Iyer is already in the UAE. He is practicing in Dubai. The Pant-led team performed superbly and topped the IPL before the IPL was postponed. Since Iyer’s return, the Delhi administration has made no decision on the leadership of the team.
