Royal Challengers Bangalore, the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, has promised to finance its oxygen-related infrastructure in the fight against the Kovid-19 epidemic on Sunday and raise money by auctioning off players’ special blue jerseys for the upcoming match. India captain Virat Kohli, who is leading the RCB, said in a video posted on the franchise Twitter that he discussed how to help at the grassroots level.

“The RCB has identified key areas in Bangalore and other cities where there is an urgent need for oxygen-related health infrastructure,” Kohli said in the video. The team raises money to deal with the devastation and shortage of healthcare infrastructure caused by the second wave of Kovid-19 infection. Kohli said the RCB will play in a special blue jersey match, in which we show respect and solidarity to those who have helped fight this transition while delivering a key message in our match kit.
