IPL 2021: Will Glenn Maxwell lead the team, becoming the first XI to play RCB

With just a few days left to start the ‘festival’ of the IPL. It will start in Chennai from April 9 and the finals will be played on May 30 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium. Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Virat Kohli, will face five-time champions Mumbai Indians in the first match of the Bangalore IPL 2021. RCB’s squad managed to earn a spot in the IPL 2020 playoffs in the UAE last season.

The first match of the Virat team will start at 7.30pm. The team will play their last match of the tournament against three-time champions Chennai Super Kings in Kolkata on May 23. RCB have added T20 specialists Glenn Maxwell and Kyle Jamison to this year’s IPL auction. With the addition of players such as Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson, the team appears to be in the balance of need.
