iQOO 8 Pro gets 50MP camera and Snapdragon 888+ with 12GB of RAM will be released on August 18

The iQOO 8 series flagship smartphones will be launched soon. It is rumored that the Vivo smartphone with the model number V2141A identified on some Chinese certification websites may be the key to the iQOO 8 series. This device is now viewed on the benchmarking platform Geekbench. In this list, some of the phone’s specifications are revealed.

The phone can come with up to 12 GB of RAM
According to the Geekbench listing, the company will offer Qualcomm’s 3.00Ghz octa-core processor on the Vivo V2141A. Its clocking rate and codename (Lahaina) show that the company will be offering Snapdragon 888+ SoC on this phone. This phone runs on Android 11 OS and is released with 8 GB / 12 GB RAM option.

You can get the Snapdragon 888 or 888+ processor
Some reports claim that the V2141A iQOO 8 Pro is a smartphone. A few days ago, the Vivo phone with model number V2136A was certified by 3C, which comes with a 120W fast charger. It is believed that this phone will enter the market as an iQOO 8 vanilla variant. The iQOO 8 gets either the Snapdragon 888 chipset or the Snapdragon 888+ processor, although we can’t say for sure yet.

Display with 2K + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate
Speaking of features and specifications, the leaked reports claim that the iQOO 8 Pro gets a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 LTPO AMOLED panel. The phone’s display is curved and comes with 2K + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. On the phone, the company can offer built-in storage of up to 256 GB.

50W wireless charging with 120W fast charging support
To power the phone, it can be powered by a 4500mAh battery that comes with 120W fast charging support. Notably, the company offers 50 W wireless charging and 10 W reverse wireless charging.

50 megapixel primary camera for photography
For photography, a triple rear camera setup with an LED flash can be seen on the phone. It can offer a 48-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 16-megapixel telephoto sensor. Currently, there is no information about how many megapixels the camera can detect on the phone. The iQOO 8 series will be released in China on August 18.
