ISSF Shooting World Cup: India’s men’s rifle team placed fourth in silver and women’s team

India’s men’s rifle team has been named the best silver in the ISSF World Cup released in Delhi. On the third day of the tournament, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar, Deepak Kumar and Pankaj Kumar won silver. The team of American Lukasz Kozinski, William Senor and Timothy Sherry finished first. But the performance of the Indian women’s team was not high and the team had to be satisfied with finishing fourth.

India scored 14 points for the gold medal while the US team scored 16 points. India finished second with 623.4 points. The United States topped the qualifying round with 625.1 points. The South Korean team defeated Iran and won the bronze medal. Earlier in the qualifiers, India topped the table with 1885.9 points. The US is second with 1880.8 points and South Korea is third with 1880.3 points. In the women’s air rifle competition, India’s team of Nisha Kanwar, Sriyanka Shadangi and Apurvi Chandela dropped to fourth. He scored 623.7, while Poland won the bouncy medal with 624.1. In the women’s category, the US won the gold medal with 627.3 points, while Denmark won the silver with 625.9 points.
