JP Nadda attends BJP leaders meeting in UP, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, Amit Shah and Tomar

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda is holding a meeting with party leaders in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan today. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar were also present at the meeting.

It is hoped that the meeting will be held in view of the upcoming elections and to devise more strategies to counter the ongoing agrarian agitation against the new agricultural laws. Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are actively participating in the peasant movement.

What is special is that the chaos of the center’s three new agricultural laws is still intact. Farmers who are adamant in repealing the laws have declared a cross-border war with the government on the issue. The farmers’ movement along the Delhi border continued for the 83rd day. Meanwhile, all the efforts of the central government to persuade the farmers so far have been fruitless.

Explain that farmers have recently enacted three new agricultural laws – the Manufacturers’ Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, Price Guarantee and Agricultural Services Act, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act of 2020 . While the central government is presenting these laws as a major reform of the agriculture sector, new legislators are worried that the MSP (minimum support price) and the kneeling system will end and they will rely on a large corporate will. Done.
