Kangana Ranaut FIR: Karnataka Police registers case against actress Kangana over tweet against farmers protests

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is getting tight-lipped on the tweet made against farmers opposing the agricultural laws. Police on Monday registered an FIR against Kangana Ranaut after a court order in Tumkuru district of Karnataka.

Advocate L. Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) had asked the Inspector of Kyathasandra Police Station to file an FIR against Kangana based on a complaint made by Ramesh Naik. The court said that the complainant had filed an application under section 155 (3) of the CrPC and demanded an inquiry. Naik also comes from Kyathasandra, he told the news agency PTI about the criminal case against the actress that the court asked the police station under the jurisdiction to initiate an investigation by registering an FIR against the actress.

On 21 September, the actress tweeted from her Twitter handle @KanganaTeam, writing that the people who spread misinformation and rumors on the CAA, which led to the violence, are now spreading misinformation on the anti-farmer bill, causing the nation Fear. They are terrorists. Naik said that this tweet has hurt, due to which he had to be strong on filing a case against Kangana Ranaut.
