KCET 2020 results will be released today, here is the direct link to download

KCET 2020 Result: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will announce the results of Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2020 on its official website today i.e. on Friday, 21 August 2020.

Once the results have been declared, the candidates who have appeared in the KCET 2020 exam will be able to check their results online by visiting the official website kea.kar.nic.in and cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

While confirming the KCET 2020 Result, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Ashwattanarayan C.N. Said in its official statement, “Results of the KCET 2020 exam to be announced on August 20 will now be declared on August 21 (Friday) due to technical reasons.”

The Higher Education Minister also said that the results will be made available to the public on the official website karresults.nic.in at 12.30 pm.

In-charge of Higher Education Department, Ashwattanarayan said that the ratio of fees and seat-matrix will remain the same as it was for the academic year 2019-2020. Due to Corona epidemic, the Government of Karnataka has decided to conduct the counseling process completely online.

Those who pass KCET will have to participate in the counseling process. There will be rounds of counseling to be held after NEET and JEE counseling. The exact dates of counseling have not been released yet.

According to the data shared by the Karnataka Examination Authority, 1,75,428 candidates (90.23 percent people have taken admission) in Physics paper while 1,75,337 (90.10 percent) have appeared in the Chemistry examination. For biology and mathematics, it was 79.90 percent and 91.92 percent on Thursday.

The Bengaluru High Court had allowed the Karnataka government to conduct the exam at various centers spread across the state on 30 and 31 July 2020, despite student protests. A total of 1.47 lakh students appeared in the KCET 2020 exam.
