E Sridharan of Kerala, known as Metro Man, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party as a formalist. Sridharan joined the BJP event in Malappuram, Kerala. Union Minister RK Singh was also present on the occasion. Sridharan had recently announced that he would join the BJP and enter politics. He said last week that if the BJP wants to contest the Assembly elections and the party is ready for its chief ministerial post.
The 88-year-old technician, known as Metroman and considered an expert in completing large infrastructure projects, said his main objective was to help the BJP to empower Kerala. Sridharan’s entry into the Bharatiya Janata Party was a major impetus for the party in Kerala.

E Sreedharan on Friday strongly supported the Center’s new agrarian legislation, saying that every move of the Narendra Modi government of the Center has become a fashion. Sridharan said there was no intolerance in the country. He said that any attempt to tarnish the image of the government on a foreign platform or in the media would not be called freedom of expression because it would be a war against the system and if it were used against our country these constitutional rights should be regulated. .
