Kovid-19 infected Indian archer Jayant Talukdar has been booked into the ICU

Former Olympian and World Cup gold medalist Jayant Talukkar has been admitted to the ICU after being infected with Kovid-19 and the oxygen level is declining. His father Ranjan Talukdar gave this information. He said his oxygen level started to drop to 92 and so he was sent to the ICU yesterday.

He is feeling better after receiving oxygen, but after removing it, the oxygen level drops again. Talukkar’s father said the archer was admitted to Kalapahar Kovid Care Hospital on April 27.

The 35-year-old athlete, who is affiliated with the Tata Archery Academy, went to his home nearly a month ago because he was not on the Indian team for the Olympics and is believed to have been infected by his medical wife. His father said, ‘His wife had been infected before but now he is recovering from the disease. Probably, the infection only reached Jayant.
