Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga, who has already retired from Test and One Day Internationals, has decided to retire from franchise cricket. He made the decision following the Mumbai Indians’ decision to be released ahead of this year’s IPL 2021 auction. Malinga is the most successful bowler in the IPL and he has taken most wickets in this tournament.
