Learn how SBI Bank customers can generate ATM PINs through these methods

State Bank of India (SBI) customers can now quickly create their ATM-cum-debit card PIN without having to go to a bank branch. This is called the Green Pin. It can be generated through IVR, Internet Banking, SMS. You can create green pin of SBI Debit Card –

From the IVR system

To create a green PIN of your SBI debit card, you have to call toll free number 1800 112 211 or 1800 425 3800 from your registered mobile number. Before starting this process, keep your ATM card and account number handy so that you can enter details when needed. Follow the steps below to create your green pin:

1. After the call is connected, press 2 for ATM / Debit Card related services.

2. From the IVR menu again, press 1 to release the pin.

3. IVR prompts you to press 1 if you call from a registered mobile number or 2 to talk to a customer agent.

4. IVR prompts you to enter the last 5 digits of your green ATM card. Press 1 to confirm the last 5 digits. If you make a mistake in entering the digits, press 2 to re-enter the last 5.

5. You will then be asked to enter the last 5 digits of your account number. If the number you entered is correct, press 1 or press 2 to re-enter the last 5 digits of your account number.
