Lovelesh Tiwari was brought up in a middle-class household with his parents and siblings. Yagya Kumar Tiwari is his father’s name, and Asha Tiwari is his mother’s name. His father is a farmer, while his mother is a homemaker. Among his four brothers, Lovelesh is the third. His younger brother, Vineet Kumar Tiwari, is currently studying in the first year of his BA program.

According to reports, Lovelesh Tiwari had been involved in an incident where he had slapped a girl in public. As a result, an FIR was filed against him, and he was subsequently arrested and imprisoned in 2021. This was reportedly the first time that he had been incarcerated. He was released on bail after a period of time. It is also said that his family had severed ties with him after he was sent to jail.

Lovelesh Tiwari, along with two others named Sunny from Hamirpur district and Arun Maurya aka Kalia from village Baghela Pukhta under Soron Kotwali police station in Kasganj, were involved in the murder of the mafia-turned-gangster brothers Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed. The trio posed as journalists and shot at the brothers as they were addressing media persons on their way to MLN Medical College for a medical check-up.

After shooting the brothers from close range and making sure that they were dead, the killers dropped their weapons and chanted Jai Sri Ram slogans while lying on the ground. During the investigation, they revealed that they had committed the murder to gain notoriety and become infamous mafias themselves. Lovelesh also sustained a bullet wound during the attack. A case was filed against him and the other two killers under IPC sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 307 (attempt to murder). Lovelesh received treatment at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital in Prayagraj.

Lovelesh Tiwari was also known by the nickname Chuchu. According to his father, who spoke to the media, Lovelesh was a drug addict, and despite their efforts to talk to him about his habit, he did not give it up. Lovelesh’s mother, on the other hand, revealed in an interview that he was a devotee of Lord Hanuman and Lord Shiva, both Hindu deities. In another interview, Lovelesh’s father mentioned that he only used to visit home for a few hours every week and did not talk much to his parents. Lovelesh’s younger brother shared in an interview that he had been associated with Bajrang Dal, but he had broken away from the group in 2018.
